Moores Recycling’s subsidiary Flogen was formed in 2000 with the sole purpose of manufacturing products from recycled plastic right here on site – much of which comes from our own waste collections. Today Flogen processes 180 tonnes of plastic per month.
Primarily manufacturing PVC pipes, Flogen has developed a formula which allows us to mix extrusion-grade PVC with lower grades, maximising the range and volume of material which can be re-processed here on site. This is done without compromising the quality of the finished products.
Flogen is also developing a process to manufacture pipes from polythene film. Our products are sold principally in the UK and Ireland for underground ducting.
We welcome enquiries from companies interested in selling their waste PVC to us for use in our plant. Please contact us for an initial discussion.
